WHAT HAVE I SEEN SO FAR IN 2014? Part 1 (December 31, 2013 - March, 2014)

(Last updated May 3)

I'm forgetful, so I thought I'd start this list to see what I've been watching and how many films I've watched. But I'm starting this list in April, so I'm going to be playing some catch-up.
My list starts the day before 2014 actually.
Ever since the Y2K scare of New Year's Eve 1999, my wife and I have celebrated New Year's Eve fairly quietly: we buy a bunch of snacks, rent a bunch of DVDs, and try to watch a couple movies until midnight. New Year's Eve 2013 was especially good for us movie-watching-wise, in that we plowed through three whole movies before the ball fell in Times Square AND from the Niagara Mohawk building in Buffalo.
I've also included short subjects in this list (though not on the list of 10 seen in the side margin, natch!) and I've tried to include where I saw it.
Hopefully, I'll have reviews for these films, too, but uh... don't hold your breath. So, for me, this accounting is better than nothing!
And of course, it's a constant work in progress... which means I'm continually adding titles throughout the year (hopefully) and also adding (ie. correcting) film information that I impulsively threw down the first time I added a title to this list.

NEW YEAR'S EVE (DECEMBER 31, 2013, natch!):

FEBRUARY:
It seems like I was watching more stuff than just three movies in February, but I think there's was a period of time where we were watching TV shows, especially the BBC SHERLOCK series with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. We also started watching the BBC series WALLANDER with Kenneth Branagh. But, I decided not to include those here.

12. BULLITT - Directed by Peter Yates; With Steve McQueen, Robert Vaughan, Simon Oakland, Jacqueline Bisset, also Robert Duvall. (on DVD)

13. BIG ASS SPIDER! - Directed by Mike Mendez; With Clare Kramer, Ray Wise. (on DVD)

Taped broadcast of the play staged at the National Theatre in Britain. Shown at the Amherst Dipson Theater.

MARCH:

16. THE FAMILY - Directed by Luc Besson; With Robert Deniro, Michele Pfeifer, Tommy Lee Jones. (on DVD)
We saw the trailer for this and thought it looked funny. When it came on DVD, I was looking forward to watching it, then a friend of mine said she saw it and didn't think much of it. But then I watched it anyway, and really liked it. And I didn't even realize it was a Luc Besson film! I wound up buying the book it was based on, MALAVITA, by French author Tonino Benaquisto.

17. THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL (2014) - Directed by Wes Anderson; With Ralph Fiennes, F. Murray Abraham, Tilda Swinton, Adrian Brody, Willem Dafoe, Saoirse Ronan, also Jason Schwartzman, Bill Murray, Bob Balaban, Harvey Keitel.
I've definitely become a Wes Anderson fan with his last two films, this one and MOONRISE KINGDOM. After I saw MOONRISE, I bought the DVD and watched it over and over again, obsessively. I've also seen RUSHMORE and THE ROYAL TANENBAUMS, and I really liked those, too, especially TANENBAUMS.

18. WRECKERS (2011) - Directed by D.R. Hood; With Benedict Cumberbatch, Clair Foy, Shaun Evans.
